Anarchy Acres
Data-Informed Design
This is a product page concept I created for a local farmer who specializes in heritage wheat. User research and usability testing showed that users had two main questions about his products (flour and wheat berries) that the original site didn’t answer very succinctly:
What can I bake with it? 👨🏽🍳
What does it taste like? 😋
I pulled the most important data for users to the top of the product page in scannable label/value pairs and moved the less important information down the page, still breaking up the content into digestible chunks.
Trade Offs in Wix
After presenting my user research findings and the above product page, the client preferred that I spend the rest of my contract implementing changes I had suggested for his site in Wix. I also fixed up the information architecture of the nav and redesigned the hero. Below are some of the results.
